Iranian defense minister said Monday that sanctions imposed against the Islamic Republic will be shorter than the past, stressing that Tehran can turn the threat to an opportunity.
“This period of sanctions will be short and the government of the Islamic Republic will proudly, supply people’s need,” Brigadier General Amir Hatami said at the opening ceremony of two technical and technological exhibitions in Tehran’s International Permanent Fairground.
According to ran Press, Hatami added, “by relying on self-esteem, all parts of the country can supply their needs and certainly we will be able to change current situation to a golden chance.”
The 19th exhibition of research and technology achievements and the sixth exhibition of laboratory equipment and materials were opened on Monday by Iran’s Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Mansour Gholami and Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami with the presence of knowledge-based companies’ officials and domestic manufacturers.
