No Zionist officers or civilians were reportedly injured.
Occupation police said the Palestinian was 28 and held a Jordanian passport, having crossed the border between the two countries on Thursday afternoon.
The attack took place at the Damascus Gate entrance to tourist-heavy Old City in Al Quds, the main entrance for Palestinians.
The Zionist occupation troops also killed a woman who was in a vehicle after she allegedly carried out a car ramming attack on Friday that left three Israeli civilians injured.
