Iran and Hamas Palestinian resistance group condemned Israeli strikes that rocket south Lebanon a day earlier.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said the strikes are a “blatant violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity”.
In a statement, the Iranian diplomat said the number of Israeli violations reached nearly 5,000, causing harm to Lebanese civilians, destruction of infrastructure, and disruption of the reconstruction and economic development efforts in Lebanon.

Baghaei blamed the ceasefire guarantors, namely France and the US, for the situation, calling it the result of their inaction and ongoing appeasement toward the Israeli regime.
The Israeli occupation carried out a series of powerful strikes that targeted several areas across south Lebanon on Thursday. Lebanese Health Ministry said a person was martyred and seven others were wounded as a result of the attacks.

For its part, Hamas resistance movement strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes targeting civilians and vital infrastructure in southern Lebanon, stressing that this aggression “constitutes a dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of international law and UN Security Council resolutions.”
In a statement, Hamas affirmed its full solidarity “with the brotherly Lebanese people,” declaring that the attack on Lebanon is an assault on the entire Arab region.

The Palestinian resistance movement called for urgent Arab and international action to denounce Israeli crimes, hold it accountable for its violations against Lebanon and Palestine, and address its threat to regional security and stability.
