A Palestinian young man was martyred and a second was wounded on Friday evening after Israeli occupation forces opened fire during a military raid in the city of Jenin.
The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed its paramedics evacuated one martyr from the Cinema rotary in the city to a nearby hospital. Medical sources reported he had sustained fatal bullet wounds to the abdomen and neck.
A second young man was also shot and transported to the hospital for treatment by a Red Crescent ambulance.
According to local sources, the violence erupted after Israeli occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in Jenin and opened fire on civilians, leading to the two casualties.

The martyred youth was identified as 25-year-old Mohamed Salama. His death brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Jenin province since the start of the year to 71.
In addition to the shooting, the Israeli occupation forces kidnaped a young man from the city during the incursion.
