For a 728th consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces, backed by unwavering American political and military support, continue their war of genocide on the Gaza Strip, met with what observers describe as an unprecedented silence and abandonment by the international and Arab community.
On Friday, Palestinian sources reported yet more casualties from relentless air and artillery bombardment, with many victims being starving civilians waiting for desperately needed aid. The reports underscore the devastating combination of a stifling Israeli blockade, the deliberate prevention of aid entry, and a systematic starvation war.

Medical officials at the Nasser Medical Complex confirmed the arrival of one martyr and several wounded following an Israeli drone strike in the Al-Mawasi area, southwest of Khan Yunis. Simultaneously, Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Bureij and Al-Nuseirat refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip. Israeli aircraft also launched a series of airstrikes targeting the center of Khan Yunis and areas east of Deir al-Balah.
In a separate incident that has drawn sharp condemnation, the Palestinian Ministry of Health accused an Israeli occupation forces unit of kidnapping nurse Tasneem Marwan al-Hams while she was on her way to work at a medical facility in Khan Yunis.
The occupation ministry, holding the occupation “fully responsible for her safety,” condemned the act “in the strongest terms” as a “flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and the protection of health workers.” It demanded that ‘Israel’ “reveal her fate” and called for urgent international intervention to stop such violations.
