According to Palestinian sources on the ground, the violence escalated at dawn on Tuesday with a series of new attacks. “A number of citizens were killed in Israeli bombardment of several areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn,” the sources reported, confirming that at least two people were martyred and others wounded when Israeli aircraft targeted a residential building on Omar al-Mukhtar Street in the Old City.
