Massive demonstrations have erupted across Yemen in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance against Israeli aggression. From the northern reaches of Saada to the southern cities of Taiz and Ibb, Yemenis from all walks of life poured into the streets by the hundreds of thousands, their voices rising as one to condemn the Israeli aggression on Gaza and demand an end to the suffering of their Palestinian brothers and sisters.
The Al-Aqsa Support Committee, which helped organize the demonstrations, designated a staggering 680 locations across 14 Yemeni governorates as gathering points for the marches. In Hajjah alone, 180 central and sub-squares were earmarked for the million-strong march held under the banner “We are steadfast with Gaza… with our faith identity and our Quranic path”.

The western governorate of Hodeidah saw demonstrations in 122 squares, while 56 locations were designated in Amran to the north. From the 47 squares that hosted marches in Raymah in the west, to the 30 squares in Taiz in the south, 29 in Dhamar south of Sanaa, 33 in Saada, 112 in centrally-located Ibb, and 31 in Al-Mahwit, the entire nation reverberated with chants and slogans expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
The mass demonstrations also voiced backing for the operations being carried out by the Yemeni armed forces to aid the Palestinian resistance. As the crowds swelled with each passing hour, it became clear that the Yemeni people are united as never before in their solidarity with their embattled Palestinian kin, their resolve hardened by shared bonds of faith, identity and an unshakeable commitment to justice.
