Multiple violations of the ceasefire agreement were reported on Thursday in the western villages of southern Lebanon, near the border with occupied Palestine. Notably, Israeli forces, including armored units and infantry, advanced towards the outskirts of Beit Lif.
According to Al-Manar correspondent, this Israeli enemy military movement occurred between the villages of Ramia and Beit Lif, heading towards Wadi Muzlem, originating from the border region of Al-Salhani.
Heavy Gunfire and Shelling
In conjunction with this advance, Israeli occupation forces conducted a thorough sweep of the area, using machine guns to fire heavy bursts towards the village. Israeli tanks also launched two shells in the direction of Beit Lif, further escalating the situation.
Airstrikes and Ground Movement
On the aerial front, Israeli enemy drones carried out two airstrikes on the village of Yater, targeting a house at the village’s edge. Additionally, a Zionist bulldozer was observed moving near the outskirts of the village of Majdal Zoun, though it did not advance further into the town.
Lebanese Army on High Alert
Meanwhile, reports suggest the Lebanese Army is preparing to deploy in the town of Al-Naqoura. Al-Manar correspondent stated that over the past week, Israeli enemy forces withdrew a significant number of their vehicles and troops from the Al-Naqoura vicinity, moving towards Alam Al-Shaab and then into the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Lebanese Army has confirmed its readiness to enter various southern areas previously vacated by Israeli forces. While there is no specific date set for the Lebanese Army’s entry into Al-Naqoura, the situation remains fluid, with operations unfolding without prior scheduling, as witnessed in previous withdrawal and deployment actions along the border.
