Intense confrontations erupted over the weekend in the occupied West Bank as Palestinian resistance fighters clashed with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) amid a widespread arrest campaign. The al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the military wing of the Fatah movement, reported armed engagements involving machine guns and improvised explosive devices during an incursion into the al-Ain refugee camp in Nablus.
During the early morning hours, Israeli occupation forces launched a raid on the al-Ain camp, resulting in the arrest of Mohammad Khaled Abu Ranjo. Fighters from the Nablus Brigade of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s al-Quds Brigades confronted the IOF, successfully targeting infantry units with an improvised explosive device, which reportedly caused casualties among the Israeli occupation troops.
Simultaneously, in Jenin, Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Ya’bad, leading to confrontations with local Palestinian youths who resisted the incursion. Reports indicate that while Israeli occupation forces responded with live ammunition and tear gas, no injuries or arrests were recorded in this specific incident.
