Palestinian factions condemn the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas, the Palestinian Resistance Movement, condemned the Israeli brutal Mawasi massacre, describing it as part of an “ongoing genocide carried out by the Nazi-like Israeli government against the Palestinian people.” The group accused ‘Israel’ of deliberately targeting displaced Palestinians who had sought refuge in the area.
“This brutal attack on an area declared as a safe zone by the occupation confirms the ongoing genocide,” Hamas stated in an official release.
A ten-meter deep crater remains where a camp for displaced people stood west of Khan Younis after five Israeli missiles struck the area tonight. The site has transformed into piles of sand, with 40 bodies recovered and 60 injured.

The Israeli occupation military claimed the presence of Resistance members at the site, an assertion Hamas strongly refuted. “These are blatant lies through which the Israeli occupation seeks to justify its crimes,” the movement declared, emphasizing that none of its members were among the civilian gatherings or using these sites for military purposes.
The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement also weighed in on the incident, labeling it as “a new crime in the war of extermination” against Palestinians. They pointed fingers at the US administration, holding President Joe Biden responsible for providing what they termed “international cover and military support” to the Israeli government.
“The US administration and its president, Joe Biden, are fully responsible for this heinous crime and all the crimes of the enemy against our people,” the Mujahideen Movement stated.
This attack comes amidst ongoing tensions in the region, with the Gaza conflict showing no signs of abating. Both Hamas and the Mujahideen Movement have called on the international community to intervene, urging the United Nations and other global institutions to take action.
Hamas appealed for “necessary measures to bring Zionist war criminals to the International Criminal Court and hold them accountable.” As the death toll continues to rise and the humanitarian crisis deepens, the world watches, waiting to see how the international community will respond to this latest tragedy in the long-standing conflict.
