The Israeli occupation’s genocide has entered its 338th consecutive day, with ongoing massacres and attacks targeting civilians across the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian medical sources, 31 people were martyred on Saturday due to Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, with 22 of the casualties occurring in the central and southern parts of the strip.
Ismail Thawabteh, Director of the Government Media Office in Gaza, stated that the Israeli occupation army has, within less than 24 hours, bombed two shelters for displaced people, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries.
In a press statement, Thawabteh condemned the ongoing genocide against innocent civilians in Gaza and called for an urgent increase in aid. He highlighted that the “limited aid” entering Gaza—through a minimal number of trucks—satisfies less than one percent of the needs of the population.

Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor: `Israel` Targeted 16 Shelters in Gaza in One Month
The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has documented a serious escalation in the Israeli occupation’s systematic attacks on schools used as shelters for displaced civilians in Gaza, resulting in numerous casualties. This pattern is part of a broader ongoing genocide campaign that began on October 7.
In a statement released on September 8, 2024, the monitor reported that Israeli airstrikes on September 7 hit the “Halimah Al-Saadiyah” school in Jabalia, killing four and injuring others. Additionally, before noon on the same day, IOF aircraft targeted the “Amr Ibn Al-As” school in northern Gaza City, killing four Palestinians, including a child, and injuring several others.
Since the beginning of August, Israeli occupation forces have struck 16 shelters in Gaza, including 15 in northern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of 217 Palestinians and injuring hundreds more, many of whom were women and children.
The monitor also noted an increase in attacks on residential areas, commercial stalls, and shelters in Gaza and northern Gaza during the past week.
In addition, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor condemned these actions as blatant violations of the principles of distinction, military necessity, proportionality, and precaution. It criticized the Zionist entity for justifying these attacks with unverified claims of targeting military objectives.
The monitor emphasized that these attacks are part of a deliberate campaign of genocide aimed at displacing as many Palestinians as possible through violence and forced displacement. Preliminary investigations by the monitor’s field team suggest that the destruction of shelters, including schools and public facilities, is intended to create conditions that force civilians to flee from their homes to the center and south of the Gaza Strip.
Euro-Med Calls on ICC
Lastly, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) to expedite arrest warrants for Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
The monitor called for an expansion of the investigation into individual criminal responsibility for crimes committed in Gaza to include all responsible officials. It also demanded their arrest, accountability, and the recognition of the Israeli occupation’s actions as genocide without equivocation.
