The Israeli occupation police and medical officials confirmed that three Israeli settlers were killed in a shooting near the Allenby Bridge (King Hussein Bridge) crossing between Jordan and the West Bank.
In a statement, Israeli occupation police reported, “There are multiple victims at the scene, and the shooter has been neutralized.”
Magen David Adom, Israeli ambulance service, stated, “We found three men unconscious, with no pulse or signs of breathing, and suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite resuscitation attempts by both civilian and military medical teams, the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.”
The Israeli occupation army confirmed that the gunman, who had arrived from Jordan in a truck, was killed after opening fire on forces guarding the Allenby Crossing.
According to the Hebrew newspaper `Israel Hayom`, initial investigations suggest the attacker was a Jordanian truck driver.
“The preliminary investigation indicates that the truck driver, arriving from the Jordanian side to the shared unloading area, concealed a weapon in the truck. Upon reaching the Israeli staff, he pulled out the weapon and began shooting,” the report stated.
In the aftermath of the attack, Israeli occupation forces reportedly harassed workers and truck drivers at the crossing, known as the Al-Karameh Bridge, the primary land gateway for Palestinians from the West Bank to Jordan and beyond.

Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 13 reported that the Israeli occupation forces are conducting sweeps of the area, fearing the presence of other militants planning additional attacks.
The attack comes just days after the Israeli occupation army concluded a large-scale 10-day military operation in the northern West Bank, which resulted in the martyrdom of more than 30 Palestinians and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.
