In a powerful speech at the International Conference of the Martyrs for the Defense of the Holy Mosque and the Resistance Front, His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei praised the defenders of the Holy Shrine in Syria for thwarting global arrogance.
Highlighting the importance of looking beyond internal issues, Imam Khamenei emphasized the need for cooperation with neighboring countries to protect the region from foreign threats. He pointed out the dangerous schemes of the US and Israel in using groups like ISIS to control the Middle East.

“The defenders of the Holy Mosque saved the region from the project of global arrogance, which spent $7 trillion in its failed attempts to control the region,” Imam Khamenei declared.
He commended the brave fighters who pushed back ISIS and other Takfiri groups, preventing Iran from falling into chaos like other countries in the region. Imam Khamenei also noted the role of the fighters in reviving the revolutionary spirit of Iran, saying their actions show the depth of their insight.
“The collapse of ISIS is a result of the efforts of the defenders of the Holy Shrine, who continue the legacy of Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution,” Imam Khamenei stated.
