In solidarity with the people of occupied Palestine and the resistance in the Gaza Strip, amid Zionist aggression on villages in South Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has steadfastly targeted Israeli occupation sites in northern Palestine. The group’s efforts have focused on dismantling Israeli spy equipment and installations along the Lebanese border with Palestine.
Hezbollah’s military media released a series of statements on Friday, June 28, 2024, outlining the attacks and their outcomes:
First Operation
The initial statement reported that at 9:30 a.m., the Islamic Resistance’s fighters accurately targeted Israeli spy devices at the Birkat Risha site using appropriate weaponry.
Second Operation
At 3:42 pm on Friday, the group’s fighters meticulously targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers near the Al-Taihat Triangle with missile weapons.
Third Operation
In response to the Israeli aggression on Lebanese villages, particularly the Lebanese southern town of Chihine, Hezbollah’s fighters targeted a building used by enemy soldiers in the Shlomi settlement with appropriate weapons, scoring a direct hit.
Fourth Operation
As per the fourth statement, Hezbollah’s valiant fighters successfully targeted, at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, the Ruwaisat Al-Qarn Israeli site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with missile weaponry.
Fifth Operation
At 8:05 pm, the group’s fighters accurately targeted the Al-Sammaqa site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kafr Shuba with missiles.
Sixth Operation: Drone Attack
In response to the Israeli assassination in the Lebanese town of Sohmor, Hezbollah fighters launched an aerial attack using a squadron of explosive-laden drones on the newly established headquarters of the 411th Artillery Battalion in Jatoun. The drones targeted the settlement and tents housing Zionist officers and soldiers, hitting their targets with precision. Several were killed, and fires broke out in the area.
More Precise Hits
In response to the Israeli attacks on steadfast southern villages and safe houses, especially in the town of Kfar Kila, the Islamic Resistance’s fighters targeted the headquarters of the Sahel Battalion in the Beit Hillel barracks with dozens of Katyusha rockets.
In addition, the group’s fighters effectively targeted a building used by Israeli soldiers in the Metula settlement with appropriate weaponry.
Northern Settlements Neglected
Tensions between the Israeli government and officials in the northern occupied territories have intensified amid concerns over Hezbollah’s substantial attacks. Metula Settlement Mayor David Azoulay, for instance, expressed dissatisfaction, saying that his settlement on the northern border has been neglected by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his administration.
“The Israeli government has unlawfully and unofficially decided to abandon the Galilee region,” Azoulay stated on Friday, highlighting that the situation for settlers in the northern area has markedly worsened since October 7th.
New Footage Released
Later on Friday, Hezbollah’s military media released a video depicting their strike on the Berea air defense missile base of the Israeli army on Thursday, June 27, 2024.
The video starts by locating the airbase on the map of occupied Palestine, then shows Hezbollah’s missiles being fired, ending with footage of Zionist settlers capturing the missiles.
Martyrs All the Way to Al-Quds
Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance announced on Friday the martyrdom of Mujahid Mustafa Hassan Yassine (Malak), born in 1992 in the southern town of Kfar Tebnit, who rose while fulfilling his Jihad duty All the Way to Al-Quds.
