Israeli occupation forces carried out brutal raid in the northern West Bank city of Jenin on Tuesday, killing 7 Palestinians, including two school children and a doctor, Palestinian media reported.
Fierce clashes erupted shortly after IOF carried out an incursion into the Palestinian city.
Jenin Battalion of the Islamic Jihad resistance group declared its fighters engaged in deadly clashes with IOF, vowing to keep up confrontations against the occupation forces.
“Since the morning hours, the fighters of Al-Quds Brigades in Jenin Battalion have been engaged in fierce confrontations with the occupation forces. By the grace and help of Allah, the fighters have managed to detonate a large number of explosive devices and mines, especially in the areas of Jabal Abu Dhair, Al-Nadi area, and Al-Damj neighborhood, achieving direct hits among the occupation forces and their vehicles.”

Israeli occupation military confirmed the raid, saying it has launched a “counter-terrorism operation” in the city.
Jenin has been a major flashpoint for confrontations between the Israeli occupation military and Palestinian resistance groups.
In November, Israeli forces killed 14 Palestinians in a raid on the Jenin refugee camp. In January this year, at least seven Palestinians were martyred by an Israeli drone strike targeting a gathering of citizens in the city.
