Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah revolutionary movement Sayyed Abdulmalik Badreddine Al-Houthi threatened that the Yemeni forces will target any ship bound for Israeli ports, regardless of whether they pass through the Red Sea.
In a televised address on Thursday, Sayyed Al-Houthi said: “We will target any ship heading to Israel that comes within range of our weapons.”
He said that 40 operations have been carried out against the Zionist enemy using 211 missiles.
Number of missile and drone strikes against US ships has exceeded 100, the Yemeni leader added.
Sayyed Al-Houthi noted that seven operations were carried out this week, employing 13 weapons that included drones as well as ballistic and cruise missiles.
“This week, operations began towards the Mediterranean Sea with two operations.”
In this context, he said that the fourth phase announced by the Yemeni armed forces “is not limited to the Mediterranean Sea and includes all ships that transport goods to occupied Palestine.”
“There is no red line for us. We are gradually hitting sensitive strategic targets that affect the enemy and we will reach them by God’s grace,” Sayyed Al-Houthi stated.
He stressed that the United States is “complicit with the Zionist regime in the genocide against the Palestinian people, the siege of the Gaza Strip, and the closure of the Rafah crossing.
He said it was the Americans who proposed to Israeli regime to attack the Rafah crossing and occupy it.
The United States planned for the Israeli occupation’s attack on the Rafah crossing and the city of Rafah itself while preventing the entry of aid to Gaza with the aim of starving the Palestinian people, Sayyed Al-Houthi said.
He warned, meanwhile, that any Israeli escalation steps towards Rafah mean escalating support fronts in Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen.
“The Lebanese front carried out many effective and punitive operations against the enemy this week. The Lebanese front is of great importance as it is a direct front.”
He also hailed the Iraqi front, stressing that the supporting fronts are effective in pressuring the Israeli enemy.
Later on Friday, Yemeni Armed Forces announced they shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper over Marib using Surface-to-air missile.
