Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, has delivered a warning to the Israeli regime following a recent attack on Iran’s diplomatic mission in Damascus. Speaking at the International Quds Day rally in Tehran, Salami promised that ‘Israel’ will face repercussions for the airstrike that resulted in the martyrdom of seven Iranian military advisers.
Salami declared that any action taken against Iran’s establishment will not go unanswered, emphasizing the nation’s ability to overcome challenges and emerge victorious. He echoed the sentiments of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayed Ali Khamenei, pledging that Iranian forces will retaliate against ‘Israel’.
The IRGC commander criticized the United States for supporting the Zionist regime and condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza. He predicted the inevitable downfall of the Israeli government, stating that the US’s assistance is merely prolonging its existence.
At the Quds Day demonstrations in Tehran, mourners paid their respects to the fallen IRGC forces martyred in the attack on the Iranian embassy in Syria. Salami reassured the crowd that Iran will make ‘Israel’ regret its actions and stand firm against any further hostilities.
The Iranian government has vowed to seek justice for the attack, with both military and political leaders united in their determination to hold ‘Israel’ accountable for its actions.
