Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday a new strike on a US ship in the Red Sea, and a missile strike on the Zionist entity’s Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat).
In a statement, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the naval forces targeted US ship “MADO” in the Red Sea with a number of appropriate naval missiles.
He added that the Yemeni Armed Forces also fired a number of cruise missiles at Israeli targets in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area in southern occupied Palestine.
“The Yemeni Armed Forces continue to perform their religious, moral and humanitarian duty towards the oppressed Palestinian people,” Brig. Gen. Saree affirmed.
The spokesman reiterated that the Yemeni military operations “will not stop until the aggression is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.”
Earlier on Sunday the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said it had received a report on an incident some 85NM east of Yemen’s Aden. It offered a map that illustrated the name of the targeted ship 054 MADO.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have staged, since late November, dozens of attacks on Israeli-linked vessels in the Rea Sea. The attacks have been in solidarity with the Palestinian people and resistance who have been under brutal aggression by the Israeli occupation since October 7th.
