Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that some circulated reports indicate that the Israeli enemy is preparing its army to start a ground invasion of Lebanon.
The reports say that the Israeli Chief of Staff and Commander of Northern Zone have tasked a major general to set the plan of the invasion, according to Sheikh Qassem who made his remarks while addressing a memorial service held in the southern suburbs of Beirut to commemorate Hezbollah martyrs all the way to Al-Quds Fadel Kaawar, Hadi Hijazy, and Ali Marji.
Sheikh Qassem stressed that Hezbollah is not concerned with determining whether the Zionist officials are serious regarding the war schemes against Lebanon or issue void threats.
His eminence affirmed that, however, Hezbollah is completely ready to respond and confront any Israeli military escalation against Lebanon.
Sheikh Qassem reiterated that Hezbollah will not halt the border battle aimed at supporting Gaza people and resistance till the end of the Zionist war on the Strip.
“Eye for Eye; God has always supported us,” Sheikh Qassem concluded.
Hezbollah parliamentarians stressed on Monday that the ceasefire must take into effect in Gaza before it starts in Lebanon, voicing full faith that the resistance will emerge victorious and that the Israeli enemy will regret the genocide in the besieged enclave.
Hezbollah military media issued seven statements to illustrate Monday’s attacks on the Israeli enemy targets.
