In response to the renewed Israeli aggression against Gaza, the Iraqi Islamic Resistance executed its second targeting operation, striking the American “Kharab al-Jir” airport base in the northern countryside of Hasakah.
Al-Mayadeen sources reported that the resistance deployed seven missiles in this precision strike, timed shortly after the arrival of a batch of American reinforcements at the airport.
According to the sources, an American military cargo plane carrying logistical equipment and weapons recently landed at Kharab al-Jir military airport, having arrived from American bases in Iraqi Kurdistan. This marks the second such delivery in two days, following a cargo plane’s arrival last Friday.
The weapons and equipment, described as defensive in nature, are slated for distribution to American bases in Deir ez-Zor and Al-Hasakah, forming part of measures taken to counteract resistance attacks. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq affirmed its stance, considering American bases in Syria and Iraq as legitimate targets due to the pivotal role of the U.S. in the Gaza conflict.
Just a day earlier, the Iraqi resistance targeted the American base at Erbil airport, employing a drone that precisely hit its intended mark. This action was declared in direct response to the Israeli occupation’s atrocities against the people of Gaza, as stated in the resistance’s announcement.
Notably, the Iraqi resistance has targeted American bases in Syria and Iraq over 80 times, utilizing various means such as rocket-propelled grenades, drones, and short-range ballistic missiles.
