Al-Mayadeen TV Network mourned on Wednesday its two martyrs and our colleagues, Farah Omar and Rabei Al-Maamarii, in presence of their families and a crowd of journalists as well as public figures.
Head of the International Union for the Resistance Scholars, Sheikh Maher Hammoud, led the death prayers, stressing that the two martyrs fell on the way to Al-Quds.
The bodies of the two martyrs were then held and moved by the family members, lovers and colleagues to the final destination.
Funeral of the martyr Farah Omar was held in her hometown Mashghara, while the body of the martyr Rabei Al-Maamari was laid to rest at Rawdat Al-Hawraa Zeinab (P) in Ghobeiry, Beirut’s Dahiyeh.
Following the assault on journalists last October 13, resulting in the martyrdom of photographer Issam Al-Abdullah and injuries to fellow journalists, Tuesday’s Zionist attack on a journalist gathering point at the intersection of Tair Harfa and Al-Jebbain in southern Lebanon claimed the lives of Al-Mayadeen channel correspondent Farah Omar, photographer Rabei Al-Maamari, and civilian Hussein Aqeel.
