Leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi said on Tuesday announced that Yemeni forces would intensify attacks on Israeli targets in occupied Palestine, stating intention to target Israeli ships in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
The Ansarullah Movement has recently carried out missile and drone attacks on Israeli targets, signaling the potential expansion of the conflict beyond Gaza.
Al-Houthi, in a broadcast speech during the commemoration of martyr’s anniversary, declared the Yemeni vigilance in monitoring and searching for Israeli ships in the Red Sea, particularly in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and near Yemeni regional waters. “Our eyes are open to constantly monitor and search for any Israeli ship in the Red Sea, especially in Bab al-Mandab, and near Yemeni regional waters,” Sayyed Al-Houthi said.
Emphasizing their commitment, Al-Houthi affirmed that Yemeni forces will persist in striking targets inside occupied Palestine, expressing unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their resistance against the Zionist aggression.
He interpreted the Israeli enemy’s resort to smuggling and camouflage in the Red Sea as evidence of its fear and acknowledgment of the impact of Yemen’s position.
Criticizing the recent Arab and Islamic summit outcomes, he described the statement as ordinary and mocked by Israelis. He questioned the effectiveness of a statement issued by 57 Arab and Islamic countries, characterizing it as lacking practical steps and easily mockable by the Israelis. He pointed out the failure of some Arab countries to match the gravity of the situation, citing collusion with the Americans by certain nations to enable Israeli actions in Gaza.
Addressing the dire situation in Gaza, Al-Houthi expressed disappointment at the limited and weak response from more than a billion Muslims, emphasizing the ongoing tragedy in Gaza and the responsibility of the Arab and Islamic nations to take practical actions. He condemned the Arab regimes’ lack of seriousness in supporting Gaza and declared the silence of the Arab and Islamic nation regarding the Gaza tragedy as a major crime.
Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi asserted that Jihad is the sole legitimate means to support the truth, protect the nation, and confront tyrants and criminals who seek to control people and their wealth.
Last week, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the launch of multiple ballistic missiles targeting strategic locations of the Zionist entity in the southern part of the occupied territories. The strikes included military targets in the Um Al-Rashrash area, ‘Eilat’.
