The funeral processions of 28 martyrs who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack in Homs have begun at the city’s military hospital.
The Syrian Minister of Defense Ali Abbas attended the procession, which was held to honor the victims. Speaking at the graduation ceremony yesterday, the Minister commented on the tragic event, stating that “we pay this price for our country’s dignity, may god have mercy on the Martyrs.”
The death toll of the terrorist attack has now risen to 89, including 31 women and five children, according to the Syrian Ministry of Health. Despite the loss, the Ministry remains determined to confront the enemy and preserve the country’s peace and unity.
