Early Monday morning, the Syrian Defense Ministry reported that Israeli occupation forces had carried out an air aggression on Aleppo International Airport, rendering the civilian facility out of service.
The attack, which took place at 4:30 am from the Mediterranean Sea west of Latakia, resulted in the destruction of the runway and the airport’s failure.
This is not the first time the airport has been targeted by Israeli aggression over the past year, with most strikes resulting in the halting of operations.
The attack comes as the Syrian Arab Army, with the support of its allies, has been increasing its military operations, liberating large areas in both the north and east of the country.
