Israeli warplanes struck targets in the Gaza strip early on Friday, in a new act of aggression on the besieged Palestinian enclave.
Palestinian media reported that a resistance site in Al-Maghazi had been hit.

Photos shared on social media showed fireballs and smoke in Gaza from the airstrikes. Successive strikes could be seen hitting the same area repeatedly in video footage as jets were heard screaming overhead.
In a statement, Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas resistance group, announced its air defense system had confronted the Israeli aggression on Al-Maghazi.
For its part, the Israeli occupation military claimed that the strikes targeted a “unique” underground rocket manufacturing facility used by Hamas with 19 tons of munitions.
Israeli media reported that the strikes came hours after four rockets were launched at the occupied territories from Gaza.
Friday’s attack is the first since the three-day Israeli aggression on the Palestinian enclave last August. Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad, engaged in a battle after Zionist occupation assassinated one of the resistance group’s top commanders.
