Deputy House Speaker, Elias Bou Saab, said on Thursday that the US mediator Amos Hochstein will resume his endeavor to reach an agreement on the maritime border demarcation between Lebanon and the Zionist enemy.
Following his meeting with President Michel Aoun at Baabda Palace, Bou Saab noted that the recent Israeli attack on Gaza Strip has delayed the maritime border demarcation file.
Bou Saab indicated that Hochstein, after his recent visit to Beirut, moved into the occupied territories in order to meet the Israeli premier, adding that the Lebanese authorities are in contact with the Us mediator who is still in Washington.
He added that the dossier must be finalized before September “to preserve stability.”
