Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday described the successful launch of Khayyam satellite into orbit as source of pride and power.
In the future, the country will witness new space achievements, President Raisi said at the cabinet session in Tehran this morning.
Russia launched Iran’s Khayyam satellite by a Soyuz rocket from Kazakhstan Baikonur Cosmodrome on Tuesday, August 9.
The president described the successful launch of Khayyam satellite into orbit and receiving of telemetry data from the indigenous satellite by the Iranian experts as source of pride and power.
Elsewhere at his remarks, the president commemorated the defenders of holy shrines’ day which is named by the Islamic Republic of Iran on August 9.
