Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi said that the crimes committed by the Zionist regime against Palestinian worshippers and those committed by the ISIS against Afghan believers is a movement made by the West and the Zionists.
Speaking in a religious congregation on the occasion of the anniversary of martyrdom of Imam Ali (PBUH) on early Saturday morning, Raisi said that the fate of the Palestinian nation is being decided on by the resistance movements rather than by the negotiators at the negotiation table.
He said that Imam Ali advised Muslims to stand with the oppressed against the oppressors, noting that the world is witnessing two crimes against Muslims: Zionist regime oppressing the Palestinian worshippers and the ISIS killing Afghan people.
The Iranian President said that the current authorities in Afghanistan have the responsibility to protect all Afghan people, including Shias.
He also mentioned the upcoming World Quds Day as a symbol of Muslim unity and integration, expressing hope that the day could lead to the freedom of Quds and Palestinians victory to retain their rights due for 70 years.
