Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman rejected allegations made by the Arab League ministerial meeting claiming that Iran interferes in internal affairs of other countries.
Saeed Khatibzadeh issued a statement on Thursday, expressing regret over the continuation of the vicious circle of making anti-Iran allegations and persistence of Arab League on keeping up the approach.
He said that such measures were in contrast with the efforts made by those countries on interaction and regional diplomacy with Iran.
Repeated, baseless accusations of meddling in other countries’ internal affairs made by the countries that have a long history of warmongering in West Asia are dismissed, Khatibzadeh added.
He also invited those countries to dialogue and settlement of misunderstandings with Iran through diplomatic channels, stressing that such statements would hinder strengthening ties with Iran.
