Dozens of Zionist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Al-Quds on Thursday, Palestinian sources reported.
“Backed by Israeli occupation forces, dozens of Zionist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the cold weather,” Palestine Today TV channel quoted a source as saying.
“The settlers stormed the holy compound from its eastern site and perform provocative Jewish prayers at Bab Al-Rahma,” another source said, noting that occupation forces were securing the setters’ presence.
Hardline Israelis and extremist settlers regularly storm the holy compound in the occupied city, a provocative move that infuriates Palestinians.
Such mass settler break-ins almost always take place at the behest of Tel Aviv-backed temple groups and under the auspices of the Israeli occupation police in Al-Quds.
