Israeli warplanes struck several Palestinian targets in the Gaza strip early Friday, Palestinian sources reported.
It was the third time the Israeli occupation has carried out airstrikes in Gaza since the end of the 11-day war it launched against the besieged enclave in May.
Israeli occupation army claimed the warplanes targeted a weapons manufacturing site belonging to Hamas Palestinian Resistance movement.
It added, in a statement, that the strikes were “in response to the arson balloons fired” towards the occupied territories from Gaza.
On Thursday, Israeli fire service said incendiary balloon launches from Gaza had sparked four minor fires in the southern Eshkol region, on the Gaza border.
