The Syrian army and allies continued on Thursday securing the liberated neighborhoods in the northern part of eastern Aleppo as the terrorists escaped the area and headed towards the southern towns as their last resort.
The area of the towns (Bustan al-Qasr, Bustan al-Zahra, al-Kallasa, al-Ansari, al-Sukkari, Karam al-Daadaa, Sheikh Saeed, and al-Salheen) which are still under the terrorists’ control is 5% of that of eastern Aleppo.
Media reports mentioned that the civilians who were displaced due to the battles continued returning to their houses in Sakhour and Al-Shaar neighborhoods after the army troops managed to remove the bombs and explosives which had been planted by the terrorists.
