The Lebanese ministry of public health issued Monday its daily report in which it announced 295 new coronavirus cases, 290 of them for locals and 5 for arrivals, raising total to 6812.
The report added that 5508 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 2292.
According to the report, four new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 80.
Minister of Public Health, Dr. Hamad Hasan, on Monday announced in the wake of the cabinet session that he had contacted Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Major General Mohammad Fahmi, and Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, to discuss the isolation of some districts due to the spiking number of Coronavirus cases, with the exception of the capital, Beirut, which currently suffers the ramifications of Beirut Port blast.
