Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri said the country has gained such great deterrent power that the enemies like the US and Israel do not dare to take military action against the Islamic Republic.
Addressing a video conference of Iranian Police commanders on Monday, Major General Baqeri highlighted Iran’s defense power that has deterred the bloodthirsty enemies, such as the US and the Zionist regime, from launching any attack on the country.
The enemies that have spent their resources and power on wars instead of handling the issues of their people have not and will not dare to take any act of aggression against Iran, the commander underscored.
He also said that the US’ inaction after Iran’s January 8 missile attack on the American airbase of Ain al-Assad in Iraq reveals the extent of the Islamic Republic’s deterrent power and the capabilities of its Armed Forces.
The senior general further praised the Iranian Police forces for their significant role in ensuring sustainable security across the country, while a number of neighboring states are struggling with insecurity.
Iran is now enjoying the highest level of security, the top commander stated.
Iranian military and political officials have repeatedly warned the enemies against the dire consequences of a military action against the Islamic Republic.
In comments in April 2018, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei said the US is aware of the crushing response it will have to face in case of taking military action against Iran.
The era of hit and run is now over, and the US knows that if it gets entangled in military action against Iran, it will receive much harsher blows, Imam Khamenei underlined.
