The Syrian army managed on Friday to regain control over Al-Thatha triangle in east of Sabea Biyar area which separates Homs and Damascus eastern countryside, securing Damascus-Baghdad-Jordan triangle.
The Syrian army and allies also advanced in east of Shumariya mountain range in Homs eastern countryside, controlling Al-Mshayrfe southern quarry.
The Syrian army unit foiled Friday morning a fierce attack launched by ISIL terrorists on a number of military posts in the area between Aleppo’s Khanaser and Hama’s Atherya.
According to SANA, 20 terrorists were killed and others were injured during the confrontation, while a number of their vehicles were destroyed.
SANA added that Aleppo-Khanaser-Atherya is totally safe and the traffic movement there is normal.
