Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will hold talks with senior Lebanese officials during his visit to Lebanon.

The top Iranian diplomat is to arrive in Beirut on Monday afternoon, sources told al-Manar.

Shortly after his arrival, Zarif is to meet President Michel Aoun in Baabda presidential palace and then he will hold talks with his Lebanese counterpart, Gebran Bassil, according to the sources.

Later on Tuesday, Zarif will meet caretaker Prime Minister Tammam Salam, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri and Speaker Nabih Berri, the source added.
