Palestinians are on Friday readying to participate in the 43rd week of The Great Marches of Return along the border between Gaza and the occupied territories.
The protest this week is under the banner: “Unity, Our Way to Victory,” according to the Supreme Committee of the Great March of Return which called in a statement for wide participation in the peaceful rallies.
Meanwhile, the committee in its statement called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility in calling to lift the siege on Gaza strip.
More than nine months have passed since the start of the massive wave of protests known as the Great March of Return (started on March 30, Palestinian Land Day).
The Great March of Return protests call for the right of return of Palestinian refugees, a right enshrined in international law, and the end of the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip by the Zionist entity and Egypt for over a decade, which has caused suffering to the Palestinians living there.
