Gazans are preparing to take part in “Friday of Child Martyrs” as part of Marches of Return staged at the border with the occupied territories.
National Committee of Marches of Return called on Gaza residents to largely take part in Friday march, in order to “send a clear and firm message to the Zionist enemy that our people are determined to confront and foil all conspiracies against the Palestinian people,” a statement released by the committee read.
“The march on Friday is staged in remembrance of our martyrs, including child martyrs who fell during the Marches of Return,” the statement added.
The committee called on Gazans to head to “Return Camps” following Friday prayers, stressing on the peacefulness of the march, Palestine Today, reported.
More than 130 Palestinians have been martyred by Israeli fire during Marches of Return. Palestinians have been staging the Marches of Return every Friday since March 30, demonstrating their right to return to their land occupied by the Zionist forces.
