Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad-Ali Jaafari says Iran’s air, ground and sea missile power is growing rapidly.
Jaafari made the remarks in a conference attended by commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces in Mashad.
‘Iran missile power is non-negotiable and we will defend it,’ he said.
Iranian commander pointed to Iran missile power as important in creating deterrence power.
Those precision-guided missiles used in the IRGC’s latest strike on ISIL positions in Syria are developing now, he said.
If the US attempted to continue imposing sanctions on the IRGC and defense issues, it should remove its regional military bases up to 1000 km far away, said the IRGC top commander.
He referred to the enemy’s fresh sanctions against the IRGC as attempts to pit people against each other and target national interests.
Iranian people have prepared themselves to stand against the US economic pressures, he added.
Iranians are now well aware of the US tricks in Iran nuclear deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and they are waiting for Iranian diplomats’ reaction.
The message of the revolutionary and punishing move is totally clear: IRGC is sending a warning to the Takfiri terrorists and their regional and extra-regional sponsors that if the evil and satanic measures against the Iranian nation are repeated, the revolutionary anger and flames of the IRGC’s revenge will engulf the perpetrators and lead the criminals to hell.
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on June 19 that it had carried out a missile attack against the headquarters and logistics of the Takfiri terrorists in Deir Ez-Zor, the largest city in eastern Syria, to punish perpetrators of the recent terror attacks in Tehran.
After the Takfiri terrorists’ June 7 attacks in Tehran which left 17 killed and dozens more wounded, the IRGC announced that the shedding blood of the innocent will not go unanswered.
“During the operation, a number of surface-to-surface mid-range missiles targeted Takfiri terrorists from IRGC’s bases in Kermanshah and Kordestan provinces, Western Iran.”
