A Palestinian youth was shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces (IOF) live gunfire on Tuesday evening in the town of Al-Ram, north of occupied Jerusalem.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), its medical teams provided treatment to a 28-year-old man who was targeted with live ammunition in the knee near the apartheid wall. The victim was subsequently transferred to a hospital for further care.

Local sources reported that the incident occurred when IOF soldiers pursued a group of Palestinian workers in the vicinity of the apartheid wall and opened fire directly at them, resulting in the injury.
