Iran hit back at Bahraini Foreign Minister on Friday, saying that the Gulf island should deal with its internal problems instead of making repeated statements.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi’s remarks came after Bahraini foreign minister Khaled bin Ahmad Al Khalifa said that Iran has politicized Hajj.

The Iranian diplomat recommended Khaled to deal with the internal problems of his own country instead of keeping on repetitious stances as inspired by some misled regional rulers, IRNA news agency reported.

Earlier, Khaled accused Iran is interfering in the affairs of the Arab countries. At the secretariat of the Arab League, the Bahraini FM denounced what he called efforts aimed at politicizing Hajj by Iran.
