The press office of the Zionist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued on Monday a statement to commend the Lebanese government decision to confine weapons to the state before the end of this year, saying it is time to cooperate in order to disarm Hezbollah.
Netanyahu claimed that ‘Israel’ is ready to slash its military deployment in South Lebanon if the Lebanese government takes practical steps to disarm Hezbollah, alleging that the “two countries have a chance to reinforce stability and prosperity”.
The gradual slashing of troops deployed in Lebanon will be in coordination with the United States, according to the statement.
