Millions gathered in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, on Friday in a massive show of unity, celebrating what they called a victory over US aggression and pledging unwavering support for the Palestinian people.
In a powerful statement issued at the protest in Al-Sabeen Square, demonstrators declared that US aggression against Yemen had failed to achieve its objectives. They credited Yemeni fighters with forcing a halt to the attacks, noting that Washington had quietly abandoned its protection of Israeli vessels and its posture of dominance.

The statement hailed the “defeat of the American enemy and the collapse of its goals,” offering congratulations to Ansar Allah leader Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, the Yemeni armed forces, and “all free people of the Islamic nation.”
Participants described the rally as both an act of gratitude to God for the failure of the US campaign and a bold stand against the Israeli enemy. They reaffirmed their full support for the Palestinian cause and for the fighters in Gaza, emphasizing that Yemen would never abandon its moral, religious, and fraternal duty to stand by them.
“The Yemeni people will not abandon Gaza, nor will they betray their values by turning their backs on their brothers,” the statement read.
The statement also praised recent military operations by Yemeni forces, including a strike on the so-called Ben Gurion Airport, which they described as a significant success. Protesters vowed to continue escalating resistance, enhancing their military capabilities, and confronting both US and Israeli occupation forces across all domains.
Condemnation of Regional Complicity
Protesters expressed regret over the state of some Arab and Islamic regimes, accusing them of not only abandoning the struggles of their people but actively conspiring with external enemies.
In contrast, they praised Oman’s diplomatic efforts to promote peace and de-escalation across the region, acknowledging its role in protecting regional stability and mediating conflicts.
