Hamas said on Tuesday that the Palestinian resistance group there is no sense in engaging in captive-ceasefire deal talks as long as the hunger war against Gaza continues.
In remarks carried by AFP news agency senior Hamas official urged the international community to halt the Israeli hunger war against Gaza.
“There is no sense in engaging in talks or considering new ceasefire proposals as long as the hunger war and extermination war continue in the Gaza Strip,” Basem Naim told AFP.

He called on the international community “to pressure the Netanyahu government to end the crimes of hunger, thirst and killings” in Gaza.
The remarks by Naim come a day after senior Israeli defense official said that there was a “window of opportunity” for fresh talks until the end of US President Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to the Middle East next week.
The official said that if an agreement is not secured by then, the Israeli occupation forces will launch a wide offensive in the Strip.
The warning came after the security cabinet on Sunday night approved a plan to significantly broaden the military offensive against the besieged strip, and as the occupation military was calling up tens of thousands of reservists.
