The Yemeni Armed Forces have announced that they have successfully targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman not once, but twice within a 24-hour period in the northern Red Sea.
According to Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the strikes involved a combination of ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones, and lasted for several hours. Saree stated that the attacks were in response to the carrier’s preparation to launch a hostile strike against Yemen.

This comes just days after Yemeni Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi warned that any continued US strikes on Yemen would prompt a “broad and comprehensive response” from his forces. True to his word, Saree declared that the YAF will move forward with implementing retaliation.
In a televised speech, al-Houthi denounced the latest US airstrikes on Yemen, describing them as a “brutal and unjust aggression” aimed at “supporting the Israeli enemy.” He stated, “The American enemy has launched a new attack on our country. This is a blatant and oppressive act of aggression, and its primary goal is to provide direct support to the Zionist regime.”
The aggression against Yemen follows the Yemeni Armed Forces’ announcement of the resumption of military action against all Israeli-linked vessels in a designated zone in the bodies of water surrounding Yemen.
