The Yemeni Armed Forces announced targeting the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and its accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea with 18 ballistic and cruise missiles, along with a drone strike. The joint operation was carried out by Yemen’s missile force, air force, and navy.
Military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated that the attack was a direct response to the US aggression, which launched over 47 airstrikes in recent hours.
The US assault, carried out a day earlier, targeted multiple regions across Yemen, including Sana’a, Saada, Al-Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Marib, and Al-Jawf, committing massacres that left dozens dead and wounded, according to initial reports.
Brigadier Saree warned that the Yemeni Armed Forces would not hesitate to strike any US warships operating in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea in response to continued aggression.

US-UK Strikes Hit Sana’a Amid Rising Tensions
On Saturday night, the US-UK coalition launched fresh airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, and other regions. According to Yemeni sources, the air raids targeted a residential neighborhood in the Shaoub district, north of the capital.
This escalation comes just days after the deadline set by Ansarullah leader Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi for the Israeli entity to lift the blockade on Gaza and allow humanitarian aid.
Ansar Allah official Nasser al-Din Amer stressed that Sana’a will remain Gaza’s shield and support, standing firm despite any challenges. “The oppressor will face the consequences, and ultimate victory belongs to the steadfast,” he declared.
Last Tuesday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the resumption of maritime operations against Israeli vessels and ships heading to occupied Palestinian ports in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
