“We had fruitful talks on bilateral relations and regional issues, and our neighbors are our priority,” Araghchi said, underscoring Iran’s commitment to fostering closer cooperation with Qatar.
The Emir of Qatar and his delegation also held meetings with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, further cementing the burgeoning relationship between the two nations.
The high-level visit and the subsequent talks come at a time when the region is facing various geopolitical challenges, and Iran’s efforts to prioritize its ties with neighboring countries, including Qatar, are seen as a strategic move to enhance regional stability and cooperation.
