The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Friday the successful execution of two military operations targeting the occupied city of Tel Aviv in the heart of occupied Palestinian territory. The operations involved a hypersonic ballistic missile, “Palestine-2,” and a drone strike using the “Jaffa” model.
In a statement made during mass rallies in support of Gaza, held in the capital, Sana’a, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree outlined the operations. He confirmed that the missile, launched by Yemen’s missile forces, accurately struck a power station east of the occupied Jaffa region.
Brigadier Saree also revealed that the Yemeni Air Force, using the “Jaffa” drone, carried out a successful military operation targeting an Israeli military site in the same area. He noted that the drone strike achieved its objective.
“These operations represent a victory for the Palestinian people and their fighters,” Saree stated, emphasizing that they serve as a response to the ongoing Israeli massacres in Gaza. He also clarified that these strikes are part of the fifth phase of Yemen’s support operations in the “Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad” campaign, directly retaliating against Israeli aggression on Yemen.
Brigadier Saree reaffirmed the Yemeni Armed Forces’ readiness to confront any potential aggression from U.S. and Israeli forces or their allies, stressing that Yemen is fully capable of defending its sovereignty and legitimate rights.
He concluded by renewing his call for the Arab and Islamic worlds to take decisive action to end Israeli massacres against the people of Gaza.
Israeli Occupation Admits Failure to Intercept Yemeni Missile
In a rare admission, Israeli media acknowledged the failure of both the Israeli enemy and US defense systems to intercept a missile launched from Yemen early this morning. According to reports from the Israeli enemy’s media, the missile caused widespread panic, with its launch forcing approximately 5 million Zionists into bomb shelters.
Failed Interception Attempts and Widespread Panic
The Israeli occupation army admitted to failing in its attempts to intercept the Yemeni missile, which was launched towards the central area in occupied territories. As the missile was tracked, alarm sirens blared across “Tel Aviv” and more than 150 cities and towns in the occupied areas. A spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army confirmed that the missile was detected as it entered occupied airspace, triggering the activation of warning systems in multiple regions, including central and southern areas.
Explosion and Casualties
The missile caused explosions near the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and its surrounding areas. Israeli reports confirmed that the missile struck a military base near Modiin, located west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli emergency services reported injuries among settlers, particularly during their rushed attempts to seek shelter. Twelve settlers were injured while running for cover, and nine others were affected by panic following the activation of the alarm systems.
Impact on Aviation
In response to the missile strike, French airlines announced the suspension of flights to Tel Aviv until January 17. Moreover, air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv was halted once again following the Yemeni missile attack.
