Israeli occupation forces launched early Monday morning a series of raids and searches across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. These operations, accompanied by clashes in several areas, included the establishment of military checkpoints and the detention of numerous Palestinians.
In the southern West Bank town of Teqoa, southeast of Bethlehem, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Kamel Al-Amour and Mohammad Jamil Issa Al-Amour after storming their family houses, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society. Similar arrests were reported in other areas, including Tulkarm, where brothers Fares and Yazan Ta’meh were taken from Qaffin.

Checkpoints and Road Closures Escalate Restrictions
Israeli enemy forces tightened their grip on Palestinian movement by setting up a military checkpoint at the entrance to Ras Karkar village, west of Ramallah, and enforcing stricter measures at the Atara checkpoint north of the city. The iron gate on the Deir Ballout junction in Salfit was also closed, cutting off access to nearby Rafat village.
They also raided several northern West Bank towns, including Burin near Nablus, where shop owners were forced to close their businesses. Other targeted locations included the villages of Imatin, Hajja, and Baqat Al-Hatab in eastern Qalqilya, as well as Anata near Jerusalem. Military vehicles patrolled streets, creating an atmosphere of heightened tension.
Palestinian Authority Escalates Action in Jenin Refugee Camp
Meanwhile, Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces continued their 26-day campaign against resistance groups in Jenin Refugee Camp. Overnight, PA forces reportedly burned down a home in the Harat Al-Damaj area, using incendiary ammunition and tracer rounds. Clashes erupted between PA security personnel and resistance fighters in the camp, marking the latest chapter in a series of violent confrontations.

Late Sunday, PA forces raided the dormitories of Palestine Polytechnic University in Hebron, detaining several students from Jenin after physically assaulting them.
Mounting Criticism Against the PA
The PA’s actions in Jenin, which have claimed six lives—including journalist Shatha Sabbagh—have drawn sharp criticism from Palestinian factions, human rights organizations, and the general public. Despite these calls for an end to the crackdown, the PA persists in its military campaign against resistance fighters and student activists.
