Head of Hezbollah’s International and Arab Relations Office Ammar Al-Moussawi sent a sent a telegram to the family of the Jordanian martyr Maher Dhiab Al-Jazi, offering condolences and congratulations over the heroic operation that killed three Israelis last Sunday at the King Hussein (Allenby) Bridge Crossing.
Al-Moussawi offered condolences and congratulations to the family of Al-Jazi, as well as to Al- Huwaitat tribeand the entire Jordanian nation over the martyrdom of their son in defense of Palestine and the Arab Nation, Al-Moussawi said in the telegram.
“The heroic operation against the Zionist enemy echoes the struggle of Maher Al-Jazi’s grandfather Sheikh Haroun Suhaiman Al-Jazi, the commander of the volunteer company of the sons of Al-Huwaitat in the Battle of Al-Qastal in defense of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) in 1948. It was also inspired by the heroic battle of Al-Karamah, fought by Al-Huwaitat tribe’s Brigadier General Mashhour Haditha Al-Jazi,” the Hezbollah official added.
Addressing the family of the Jordanian martyr, Al-Moussawi said: “O brave men, your son…, through in defense of his oppressed brothers in Palestine, has confirmed that the Arab land is deeply rooted in the conscience of his tribe and the Jordanian nation,” the message read.
